What is the scrap value of pallet racking?

The price of scrap steel underwrites the scrap value of pallet racking.  We use various sources of information to gather data on the the current market price, one valuable site is http://www.letsrecycle.com/prices/metals/ferrous-metals.  The value of used racking is also fixed to a certain extent by the cost of new racking and the sort of savings our customers expect when compared to the major manufacturers price.

Leeds Pallet Racking Boost

Just a quick update, thanks to our new customers in Leeds, we are now offering free delivery on all purchases of pallet racking uprights and beams to Leeds for the next three months at least. Don’t forget to ask for it though or it will be charged at the standard rate.

Warehouse Racking in Bradford

There seems to be a trend towards new business in Bradford at the moment. We’ve noticed an increase in sales to Bradford by 100 – 150% over the last six months, and as a direct result we’re selling more warehouse racking frames and beams there than over the last two years combined! In these tough times there must be a lesson to be learned over there. We’re over there again today so I’m going to see if I can find out what they’re doing right.
