Used Dexion racking is something we are often asked for and it’s not always what the customer actually needs. In the same way that Hoover, Sellotape or Velcro are used to describe a wide variety of products from many different manufacturers, so Dexion is just one of twenty or more types of warehouse racking currently available in the UK.
Unfortunately, asking for the blue and orange racking doesn’t narrow it down a lot, as blue frames and orange beams are common to a number of industrial racking systems and most can be supplied in a variety of colours on request.
If you need pallet racking to replace components or to add to your existing racking, then you need to be sure that you get compatible parts. Many racking manufacturers stamp their name on the uprights (Dexion, Apex, PSS, Link 51 etc), but if you can’t see it on your racking, there are other ways to make sure you order the correct warehouse racking system.

We have recently added a second page to show more of the less common types of warehouse storage systems. The shape of the holes in the frames are usually a good way to confirm the manufacturer. If you still aren’t sure, please send us a clear, close up photo (like those on our identifying page) of your racking and we should be able to let you know what you have.
