Used warehouse racking is what we do best and we have huge stocks available in a wide range of sizes and duties. We always have large quantities of Dexion, Link 51, Apex and Redirack  warehouse racking in stock and we usually have, or can source, most other racking systems. Current racking manufacturers in stock include PSS, Hilo, Storax and AR.

Frame sizes range from 2000mm to 9000mm and beyond. Standard depths are 900mm and 1100mm, but we can adjust the bracing to create almost any required depth. All of our pallet racking frames are supplied assembled and with footplates attached.

We have used pallet racking beams in stock from 950mm up to 4000mm and with load capacities from 1 to 3 tonnes UDL. All beams are supplied with beam locks.

We have orders leaving us every day, for delivery to all parts of the the UK mainland. We use contract haulage for most of our pallet racking deliveries,  small orders are sent by courier. Of course, if you would prefer we would be happy for you to arrange collection from our warehouse.

Completing your used pallet racking installation

If you know the sizes and quantities of the used pallet racking that you are looking for, you may think that you are ready to order. But there are a number of other important components to consider which will help to make sure that your warehouse racking is safe, secure and fit for purpose.

If your pallets are old and likely to sag, or you just want some re-assurance that they will safely take the weight of whatever you are storing, then pallet support bars are a simple and effective way to help keep your goods secure. We have support bars in stock at the standard depths of 900mm and 1100mm but we can supply for other frame depths on request.

Timber or wire mesh decking can also be used to support your pallets, but these options are also useful to provide a strong shelf for non-palletised items. They are easy to install and stay firmly in place without the risk sagging which may come with chipboard decking. Again, we have standard depths (900mm and 1100mm) in stock but we can supply decking to fit almost any pallet racking configuration.

Column guards are a relatively cheap way to avoid dangerous and expensive damage to your racking uprights from forklift collisions. We prefer steel column guards which bolt to the floor (fixing bolts included) in front of the racking to create a “crumple zone” and reduce the risk of damage. We also have rack end barriers available in sizes to cover standard single and back to back bays of industrial racking.

Small parts, such as fixing bolts, levelling plates (shims) and beam locks are available for all leading pallet racking manufacturers (Dexion, Link 51, Apex, PSS, Redirack and many more). These can be dispatched quickly and delivered by courier.

Used Link 51 pallet racking

Link 51 pallet racking is one of the most popular warehouse storage systems and we currently have huge quantities of quality used racking in stock. Standard sizes for the horizontal beams are 2700mm and 2250mm, which we have thousands of in our warehouse, but we also have or can source a wide range of sizes and load capacities. All our used warehouse racking beams are supplied with beam locks.

Upright frames are available with regular depths of 900mm or 1100mm but can be adjusted to other sizes on request, such as 450mm deep to create tyre racking bays. Link 51 pallet racking frames can be prepared at any height from 2000mm to 10000mm and beyond, let us know what you need and we will provide the right industrial racking for your business. Racking frames are supplied assembled and with footplates attached.

Longspan shelving for hand loaded storage

We have thousands of bays of brand new longspan shelving in stock, suitable for all hand loaded, non-palletised storage areas. This strong and versatile system is easy to put together and can be delivered in as little as three working days. It looks very much like a scaled down version of pallet racking, with upright blue frames and horizontal beams, but the beams have a “z” profile to create a lip which secures a chipboard deck in place. Support bars under the chipboard means that most shelves can take a uniformly distributed load of over 500kg.

Upright frames are supplied assembled, with footplates attached and including fixing bolts and levelling plates. They can be up to 5000mm high, and with depths ranging from 400mm to 1200mm this medium duty shelving system is suitable for all sizes of hand loaded goods. We have beams from 950mm to 2700mm in length and they are always supplied with 2 beam locks.

Chipboard decks (and support bars) are the standard shelf for this system, but we can also supply steel shelves if required.

Do you need Dexion Racking?

The most common request we get from customers is for used Dexion racking, but this isn’t always what they want. In the same way that “Hoover” became a brand name used to describe products from a range of different sources, Dexion racking is often used to describe pallet racking which can come from one of twenty or more manufacturers.

If you are adding to your existing warehouse racking and you aren’t sure what type you have, please send us a clear, close up photo of the front face of the upright frame and our experienced team will help you identify the maker. Apex, Redirack, PSS and Link 51 are all common industrial racking manufacturers and none of them are compatible with each other, so it’s important that you get the right one.
